We were delighted to present our research project “Bridging the Child Penalty: The Role of Childcare in Earnings and Commuting” at the AMDC & ASEP Conference 2026 on 21 October 2026, organised by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), and Statistics Austria.
The conference provided a wonderful opportunity not only to share our preliminary research findings, but also to gain insight into other exciting projects, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow researchers and members of the wider research community. Events like these highlight the importance of scientific exchange, collaboration, and networking.
